In October 2021, a prototype wind turbine unit with a completely independent intellectual property rights main control system developed by a certain company was successfully integrated into the State Grid.

In October 2021, a prototype wind turbine unit with a fully independently developed and owned main control system, developed by a certain company, was successfully integrated into the national power grid. The company's independently developed intelligent control system, applied in the field of wind power new energy, serves as the "brain" of the wind turbine unit, undertaking multiple tasks including regulating the unit's operating status, improving power generation efficiency, and ensuring equipment safety. In 2024, the company, in conjunction with the Datang Renewable Energy Research Institute Co., Ltd., successfully completed a wind turbine unit electrical control system replacement project. They innovatively adopted a software architecture concept of "nuclear auxiliary separation, nuclear control priority", and developed a wind power control system supporting real-time and general-purpose system new architectures. This resulted in a reduction of the wind turbine unit failure rate by approximately 50% compared to before, and a year-on-year increase in power generation utilization hours of nearly 9%.
